Sheryl Main updated her blog and she mentioned Charisma.

Charisma Carpenter was on set today and she is pretty cool – and beautiful – and nice. I haven’t seen her since Buffy…my bad. I’m now a fan…again. She plays Lacy, Lee Christmas’ girlfriend. I’m thinkin there’s going to be some chemistry there…from a woman’s perspective I would vaporize if a cool looking british accented badass pulled up to my house on a Ducati with a bottle of champagne. Indeed.

Reading these little posts makes me more and more exicted for The Expendables. Unfortunately, we still have yet another year to wait.

After entertaining fans on the small screen,Buffy The Vampire Slayer is all set to hit cinema halls with a forthcoming flick based on it.Though the character of Buffy was made famous by Hollywood actress Sarah Michelle Gellar [ Images ] in the hit TV sitcom, it was originally introduced in the 1992 flick of the same title. The vampire flick could hit the theatres with a new vampire. Director Fran Rubel Kuzui, who directed the original film and executively produced the TV programme, intends to replace Gellar and the rest of the cast with new actors to fight demons in a different generation. ‘Everything has its moment. Every movie takes on a life at some point, and this seems like the moment to do this,’ Contactmusic quoted Kuzui as saying. The famous vampire sitcom ran for 6 years on TV.

Buffy is going to the big screen without the rest of the TV cast. A new incarnation of the Buffy the Vampire Slayer is being developed for a film feature remake. For those who are big Buffy-Angel fans, this news might be a little disappointing. None of the Joss Whedon-created TV series’ characters are set to reprise their roles. Meaning, there would be no Sarah Michelle Gellar, Alyson Hannigan, Nicholas Brendon and David Boreanaz in the upcoming film.According to the Hollywood Reporter, the planned movie will not have any connection to the TV series. Roy Lee and Doug Davison of Vertigo Entertainment are working with the original movie director Fran Rubel Kuzui and husband Kaz Kuzui on a re-launch of the film. They are meeting with writers to look for a possible script for the project.Kuzui’s film in 1992 starred Kristy Swanson and Luke Perry and was written by Whedon.Meanwhile, Gellar and some of the TV series’ stars reunited last week, wherein they talked about a possible film that would be termed as sequel to their 1997-2001 show.Charisma Carpenter, who played Cordelia Chase, told MTV, “No one’s been formally asked to do it, but I’m sure it would be very popular.”
