Hello everyone,
I have added screen captures from two episodes of Angel season four. One of the capped episodes was “Spin the Bottle,” which actually happens to be one of my favourite Angel episodes made (and not just from season four).
Paramount Home Entertainment has revealed artwork for the 9th season of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation which stars William Petersen, George Eads, Laurence Fishburne, Paul Guilfoyle, and Marg Helgenberger. The 6-disc package will be available to own beginning September 1, 2009, and should retail at around $49.99. Extras will include audio commentaries, featurettes, and more.
Charisma appeared in the shows 19th episode, “The Descent of Man” as Mink.
Producer Avi Lerner spills the bean that there will be screen tests for both PG-13 and R rated cuts of this Sylvester Stallone’s action movie before the studio set on which to be released.
There is a chance that “The Expendables” ends up being a PG-13 film. This interesting update comes from producer Avi Lerner, who during UGO Movie Blog’s visit to the set of the action adventure movie, admitted that that there will be two versions of the film cut for test audiences. One will be an R rated cut, while the other will be made in a PG-13 rating standard.
Lerner further explained that the studio will use the screening test of both versions as the means to decide whether to release the movie in its PG-13 or restricted version. On the reason why, it was pointed out that the movie is costing about 80 million dollars and thus the studio want it to be a big hit. Lerner himself is hoping to turn it into a franchise.
Directed, written and starred by Sylvester Stallone, “The Expendables” centers its story on a team of mercenaries who heads to South America on a mission to overthrow a dictator, who has caused devastation in the last 20 years. It has Eric Roberts, Steve Austin, Jet Li, Mickey Rourke, Brittany Murphy and Charisma Carpenter among the star-studded cast ensemble.
The principal photography of this action adventure had begun on March 28 in locations, such as Brazil, New Orleans and Los Angeles. The shooting in Brazil has been wrapped up earlier. This Lionsgate movie is eyeing a U.S. release on April 23, 2010.
Since the news that a new Buffy movie will come out sans Joss Whedon, we’ve gotten the sense that fans have been a little perturbed. What would you say to a Buffy The Vampire Slayer animated series?
A source is revealing that the beloved cult vampire classic, which made the move to comics after the show ran it’s course, could be returning to the small screen in an animated show based off of the comics. Very few details are available, but it stands to reason that the show will continue in the Buffyverse Whedon had created, thus being more appealing to fans.
As for Whedon’s involvement, the source says: “Whedon’s involved, but not on an ‘in-the-studio’ kind of way. He will pop in at bench-marks and give the thumbs up to make the studio happen. Not as much involvement as any of us want, but its better than not any at all.”
We see a lot of potential in this idea. For one thing, we bet it would be easier to get the original cast to come back if all they had to do was voice-overs. Plus, we’d rather see an animated Sarah Michelle Gellar kick butt than the live one.
As I am sure you have already noticed, Charisma Fan has a brand new layout. The theme was made using the wonderful theme Amanda provided, but I designed the header. Hopefully everyone likes it. It think it was time for a change. Also, an additional episode of Angel has been added to the gallery.
